Life Lesson 113: You deserve the very best that life has to offer

Dear Readers,

Today was a busy day. I got a chance to secure a full page advertisement with a Christian magazine. Also, I secured a new vendor for my books (Lessons on Church Folk Volume 1 & Volume 2). Other than that, my day went pretty good. As I went throughout my day, I wondered why some people put up with foolishness from other people. It could be that they do not know that they deserve better and if they do know what they deserve, they refuse to go after it.

In life, we deserve people who will love us for who we are. These people can be our spouses, boyfriends/girlfriends, parents, children, etc. We need these people in our lives because they make us better people. They encourage us to work hard on any project that we want to do. These people tell us that we can do anything that we set our minds to. They love us for who we are and not who other people think we should be.

We deserve real friends who are in our corner no matter what. These friends are the kinds of people who will be with us when we win the lottery and they will take us in even when we have no more money left. No matter what, these people are there for you through thick and thin situations. I have been told that you should keep your friends close but keep your enemies even closer. If you have real friends in your life, treasure them and let them know that you appreciate them being in your life.

Lastly, you deserve the very best from yourself. You deserve to be in a relationship with someone who loves you and supports you. Do not settle for anything less than the best. If you are trying to be the best, you need to surround yourself by someone who wants the best out of life. You cannot expect the best when you are hanging around people who accept less than the best. You can try to help other people to know their worth, but you cannot show them their worth if you do not see your own worth. You are worth gold and rubies.....do not accept cubic zirconias with an IOU for future payment. Get your just due by holding your head up and knowing that you are precious. Who are you to be beautiful? You were created in God's image so your are beautiful by default.

You can be a gift/treasure to others during the holidays!
If you want to be the best, you need to work hard so that you can complete your goals in life!
