Life Lesson 120: Do not stress over things that you cannot control

Dear Readers,

I hope that you are having a productive day. So far, my day is off to a great start. I have completed most of the things that needed to be done today except my writing (this blog). In any event, I have been thinking about topics that relate to stress. I wonder why people stress so much over things that they cannot control. And stressing yourself out will not get you any closer to solving your problem. Today, we are going to discuss the reasons why people get stressed out when things do not happen when they want them to happen.

Let's begin.....

Some people get stressed out because they lack faith. These people tend to talk about faith all the time but they do not have a lot of it in their own lives. So instead of praying for more faith, these people get stressed because they feel like they have the answers to all of their problems. But they fail to realize that God can solve their problems because he has the answer to every problem that we have. Today, aim to have more faith in God because he can bring you through any and every situation.

Some people get stressed out because they want a certain result to their problem. People fail to realize that some situations will not turn out the way that they want them to. There are times when an answer to a problem will be No. If the answer is No, it means that it is not your season for your problem to be solved. You will need to pray more so that God will help you to understand why he said No. Even if the answer is Yes, it does not mean that you will not have to work hard in order to solve the problem. No matter what, let God decide on the answer that he wants you to have. In the end, he will work out all things on HIS time.

Some people get stressed out because they are dealing with stress on their jobs. Their jobs are working them so hard that they barely have a chance to breathe. They try to find time to take a break or a lunch hour, but the work load seems to overshadow any breaks that could be taken. Stress on your job can come in various forms but it is up to you to find constructive ways to handle your stress. You can de-stress by exercising, speaking kind words to others, thinking positively, listening to music, etc. What ever you need to do to relieve some stress, do it!

          Today, you need to find ways to relax so that you can live a stress-free life!
